Telefunken EL12 Spezial spez Vacuum Tube is a powerful vacuum pentode power output last stage audio valve amplifier. It was first released in 1938 by Telefunken and has predecessors such as the AL5, while its successors include the EL34. This tube features an 18 W power output with almost twice the sensitivity of an AL5, making it suitable for applications requiring higher output power than normal pentodes such as the EL11 can provide. Additionally, this tube comes with a suffix /xxx indicating its maximum voltage capacity which is usually 250 V and also includes a plate top cap along with P base for parallel type connections.
